Friends of the ANBG: Botanic Garden Week program

Celebrate Botanic Gardens Week (18–24 May 2026) with a lively program of workshops, guided walks, art sessions and talks hosted by the Friends of the Australian National Botanic Gardens. 

Learn plant propagation, try botanical art, hear fascinating CSIRO stories, or join a photography walk—there’s something for all interests. 

Explore the Gardens your way with special events like the Bushland Nature Walk, daily guided tours, self-guided trails and weekend Flora Explorer bus rides. 

Most activities are free or low-cost, but bookings are recommended.
