Artwork by Jacqueline Bradley

Join artist Jacqueline Bradley and ANBG Conservation Horticulture Manager Vero Briceno Rodriguez for a guided walk exploring Observation Benches, a new artwork created for the 2026 Canberra Art Biennial.

Installed throughout the Australian National Botanic Gardens, these sculptural benches invite visitors to slow down and reflect on the often-unseen acts of care, collection and conservation that shape the Gardens. Along the way, discover the stories behind the work and the connections between art, people and plants.

Walking is required for this event. If you require mobility assistance, please contact the creative producer.
