Pink wattle
August themed walk: Wattle walks

Did you know there are more species of wattles than even of our iconic eucalypts? It’s not surprising that the floral emblem of Australia is a wattle. What are those wonderful floral globes made up of? Why does their foliage vary so much? Take a free guided walk to find out more about wattles and see a wide variety of them in flower at this time of year.

No booking required for individuals, but groups of more than six people should contact walks@friendsanbg.org.au a week before the planned walk.
