Bonsai exhibition

The annual Australian Plants as Bonsai exhibition is back at the Gardens this weekend, presented by the Canberra Bonsai Society. 

The theme of the exhibition in 2025 is Australian Plants make Beautiful Bonsai. The exhibition will include over 40 bonsai of Australian native plants with a fusion of traditional display features with a uniquely Australian influences. 

Enjoy public demonstrations at 11 am and 2 pm - discover the techniques used, and considerations needed, when training Australian plants as bonsai.
